After flooding from Tropical Storm Irene Efficiency Vermont created several flood specific initiatives to help Vermont homeowners and businesses repair or rebuild as energy efficiently and safely as possible.

The Vermont Economic Development Authority (VEDA) has allocated up to $10 million in low-interest loans (1% for the first two years with no payments required in the first year) that will be made available to businesses and farms hurt by Hurricane Irene. Information at www.veda.org.
