About the Energy Leadership Challenge
At Efficiency Vermont, we’ve been inspired by the many successes that Vermont’s businesses and institutions have had with energy and cost savings. Since July 2011, we’ve been challenging businesses—and ourselves—to do even better.
69 large businesses located in Vermont joined the Energy Leadership Challenge and are now taking action to achieve 7.5% energy savings at their facilities. The challenge began in July of 2011 and will continue until the end of June 2013.
Efficiency Vermont is helping each participating business create a comprehensive, long-term energy savings plan and is providing resources—both technical and financial—to help the participants meet their goals.
What does Energy Leadership look like?
We congratulate each of the participating businesses of the Energy Leadership Challenge for committing to achieve 7.5% energy savings. Energy leadership starts with the pledge these businesses have made to reduce their energy consumption.
We recognize that our shared energy future comes with many challenges—we hope that this challenge will create new opportunities for businesses to thrive in Vermont.
